John Fury, the father and coach of boxing stars Tyson and Tommy Fury, nearly instigated multiple fights during an appearance at the Misfits Boxing open workouts in Manchester.

The elder Fury, who is known for routinely raging out anytime cameras are near, did exactly that while in town to support Tommy Fury as he heads toward a main event clash with social media star KSI at the AO Arena on Saturday. In a video clip, which you can see below, KSI appears to be leaving over a balcony when a water bottle, thrown by Fury, suddenly flies toward him, KSI quickly dodges the debris and appears to spot over the railing toward where Fury is standing.

John Fury was far from done at that point, turning his attention toward Jake and Logan Paul’s father, Greg Paul. Initially, Paul attempted to laugh off Fury’s taunts, but security was quick to jump in when Fury lunged between two platforms while trying to reach Paul.

It’s far from the first time that John Fury has gone into business for himself while attending events in support of his significantly more talented children. Last month, Fury flipped over tables and destroyed the stage setting while attending a press event for Saturday’s fight card in the U.K. The conference abruptly ended with security staff attempting to quell the fracas.

Kicking off at 2 p.m. ET on DAZN pay-per-view, Misfits Boxing’s ‘The PRIME Card’ will be co-headlined by a grudge match between Logan Paul and BJJ specialist Dillon Danis with a bout between undefeated standouts KSI and Tommy Fury closing out the show.

Emanating from Manchester, England, Misfits Boxing’s ‘The PRIME Card’ will feature a showdown between two undefeated pugilists as KSI, real name Olajide Olayinka Williams Olatunji, returns to the squared circle for a meeting with undefeated scrapper Tommy Fury. Looking for his 10th-straight victory, Fury goes into the bout fresh off his split decision victory over Jake Paul in February.

With fight night looming, Tommy Fury’s father and coach, John Fury who is sponsored by Free Bets joined Murdo Todd for a LowKick MMA exclusive interview to discuss the impending matchup.

“I know how good Tommy is and KSI is going to find out how good Tommy is on the night,” Fury said. “I’m not gonna shout, and scream, and jump up and down because I’ve done all that, but the time for talking is over. Action speaks louder than words. We’ve said this, we’ve said that. He’s been saying plenty. Let’s see if he can back it up on the night. I hope he can” .

John Fury Disputes the Notion that KSI Has Boxing Skills

Asked for his opinion on KSI’s skills in the boxing ring, John Fury instead questioned whether or not the PRIME Energy guru had any skills to assess.

“What skills? He’s only been boxing for two minutes,” Fury responded. “He’s probably got internet skills.”

KSI is currently undefeated in boxing with his most notable victory coming against Jake Paul’s older brother, Logan Paul, who will also feature on the Misfits Boxing card. Since then, KSI has bested a number of aspiring hip-hop artists and social media stars such as Swarmz and FaZe Temperrr.

Tommy Fury will represent the first time KSI has stepped inside the ring with a legitimate boxer.

Veteran coach, John Fury, the father of WBC heavyweight champion, Tyson Fury and emerging boxing talent, Tommy Fury – has warned the latter’s upcoming foe, KSI away from a planned slap attack on him ahead of his October boxing return, warning him that he’ll face an expensive trip to the dentist if he follows through.

Fury, an iconic figure in professional boxing, wreaked havoc at a pre-fight press conference earlier this month between KSI, Tommy Fury, Logan Paul, and outspoken grappler, Dillon Danis – slamming a table and turning it over in a loss of temper during the press event

The latest stunt came in a long list of infamous moments from the heralded Fury, who also took off his top in the ring following his son’s victory in Saudi Arabia last year – goading eventual opponent, Jake Paul who sat ringside at the event.

John Fury issues stark warning to KSI ahead of October fight

Issuing a warning to KSI ahead of the former’s boxing return against his son, Tommy Fury next month in England, John Fury has claimed the professional boxer, YouTube star, and R&B artist will have a trip to the dentist on his hands, if he tries to slap him as planned following the event.

“He’s (KSI) never going to get to slap my titties,” John Fury said. “I’ve been doing plenty of bench presses recently, anyway. Look, he’d have a very nasty dentist bill if he does. Because he wouldn’t have had tooth in his cupboard because it’d been knocked straight to the back of his throat. Nobody can buck around on me, on one, unless they’re paying a lot of money.”

“And I know more about fighting and violence than him,” John Fury explained. “I’d probably just pick him up, fire him into the crowd like a paper aeroplane. I’d pick him up in the end, fire him up in the air like a paper aeroplane because one of my arms is bigger than KSI.”

“But listen, the kid ain’t gonna do that,” John Fury explained. “The kid’s not stupid. They’re not stupid people. Like, I’m not stupid. Things do get out of hand. But that takes two to tango. Always remember that. If they want a problem, it’s because they’re inciting it too. And if I think they’re inciting something, I’m gonna meet them head on with in. In my age and my experience, they don’t 100% want it. I can see in their eyes whether they want it or not. That’s okay by me. I won’t push it. But if they want it, they can have it. No one wants a problem in this life. Always remember that. No one wants it. But if they have to have it, they’ll have it.”

“I was born a man, I’ll die a man,” John Fury continued. “Nobody can put his hands on John Fury and expect to get away unscathed. You bring it and you touch me, you’re in trouble.” (Credit to Freebets.com

Olajide Olayinka Williams, better known by fight fans as KSI, revealed some details regarding his run-in with UFC megastar Conor McGregor last month.

In August, both McGregor and KSI were inside London’s iconic O2 Arena to watch former unified heavyweight world champion Anthony Joshua square off with Finnish standout Robert Helenius. During one point in the evening, McGregor found himself inside the ring and took the opportunity to cut a promo on KSI who was sitting ringside for the festivities.

“I think we all know what he said,” KSI told fans in a YouTube video. “Something about me not knowing how to box, I think he was off his face and then he was forcing his s*ssy drink down AJ’s throat. Yeah, it was really weird.”

KSI Weighs His Future Options

On October 14, the social media star will return to the squared circle for a main event showdown with undefeated British standout Tommy Fury. The pair are scheduled to headline Misfits Boxing’s ‘The PRIME Card’ in Manchester.

“Conor’s a weird guy, man,” KSI continued. “I think he was trying to set up a fight, I think he wants to fight me, especially after what I do to Tommy [Fury]. I can see him getting excited and being like ‘Yeah, I want a piece of that’ and you know what? Fair. We’ll see, we’ll see if I’m down, we’ll see if I want to retire, see if I want to fight Jake [Paul] or Conor. I don’t know but I’ve got options, let me focus on Tommy first” (h/t Mirror).

KSI has teased a potential retirement from the sport once he steps inside the ring with Tommy Fury, but big-money matchups against the likes of Jake Paul could keep him in the game for a bit longer. If given the opportunity, we have no doubt that KSI would put off retirement to go toe-to-toe with Conor McGregor, but we also can’t see the Irishman entertaining a fight with a YouTuber who’s had one professional fight. That being a split-decision win over Logan Paul in 2019.

Logan Paul claims KSI was a harder fight than Floyd Mayweather he's just a dog

Logan Paul claims that KSI was a harder fight than Floyd Mayweather Jr. in latest interview.

Influencer boxing, as crude and cringeworthy as it might be, still attracts large audiences for some of theri events. This gives their biggest stars such and Paul and KSI a kind of illusory superiority in regards to their skills and understanding of the sport.

While neither Paul of KSI have displayed any real boxing quality, they certainly don’t know that. In fact, Paul would go as far to claim that foe turned business partner, KSI was a harder fight than Mayweather, who he fought in June of 2021.

“Honestly, KSI, he’s just a dog.” said Paul in an interview with Misfits. “He’s just a dog. He has this tenacity and this intensity that I’ve never seen. Like when you’re in the ring with him he wants to kill you. It’s the only thing he cares about. He can’t lose. He made a documentary called “Can’t Lose” and I think he really, really believes that in his heart so he tries as hard as he can.

“I think Floyd Mayweather knew he wasn’t going to lose.” (H/T MMA Mania)

Logan Paul makes interesting claim

Logan Paul Vs. Dillon Danis

After turning to professional wrestling, Paul is set to make a return to the ring when he faces off with Dillon Danis in October.

The pair have had an feud which dates back several years, which has turned particularly ugly since their fight had been made officially. Danis in particular has taken it to the extreme, targeting Paul’s fiancé and her past relationships with other celebrities.

Danis has been heavily criticized for his antics and complainants do have a valid point. The issue is, behaviour like this has been allowed and at times encouraged by those who push influencer boxing. In a world where people feel the need to one up each other in order to promote fights and themselves, a lot of influencers seem to have no boundaries.

If a fighter such as Anthony Joshua, or Terrance Crawford began to make remarks like Danis’, they would be rightly criticized. However, it would be hypocritical for someone like Paul, or KSI to claim that it is ‘too far’ when then they have not only encouraged similar actions, but greatly financially benefited from the atmosphere it has created.

What do you think or Logan Paul’s remarks?
