Dillon Danis recently revealed that some hard sparring sessions with former two-division UFC champion Conor McGregor have left him with a permanent lazy eye.

The subject was initially brought up courtesy of the promotion’s newly-minted bantamweight king, Sean O’Malley, who responded to an image shared by Danis of himself with a newborn baby on X. “You always have a lazy eye or just sometimes? Sorry high af right now can’t tell,” O’Malley questioned.

Danis responded to O’Malley’s inquiry, revealing that during McGregor’s training for his UFC 229 scrap with Khabib Nurmagomedov, the pair were sparring heavily which resulted in Danis breaking his orbital bone.

“Fun fact: In the lead-up to UFC 229, while doing hard sparring sessions with Conor for the Khabib fight, I broke my zygomatic arch and orbital bone, so I think I’m just stuck like this,” Danis revealed.

Dillon Danis joined McGregor’s team in 2016 to help the Irishman hone his ground game for his lightweight title tilt with Khabib Nurmagomedov. After ‘The Eagle’ submitted McGregor in the fourth round, Nurmagomedov famously climbed the cage and went after members of McGregor’s team, specifically Danis.

The eye injury didn’t stop Dillon Danis from moving forward with his own mixed martial arts career, scoring back-to-back first-round submissions under the Bellator banner in 2019. It’s been four years since fight fans have seen Danis compete, but that is scheduled to change on October 14 when Danis is expected to step inside the squared circle for a clash with social media sensation Logan Paul.

Dillon Danis and Paul have been at odds with one another ever since their bout was announced in August, much of it stemming from Danis’ non-stop trolling of Paul’s fiancée, Danish swimsuit model Nina Agdal. Danis has routinely poked fun at Agdal’s plethora of past partners, but he took things a bit too far when he shared an NSFW image of Agdal that was taken behind closed doors. As a result, Agdal has filed a lawsuit against Danis that could bring potential state and federal charges against the BJJ specialist.

That has seemingly left his fight with Danis up in the air, but so far everything has been full steam ahead. In fact, Danis and Paul have even agreed to run it back inside a cage no matter who wins on October 14. All Danis has to do is show up.

“Dillon, check this out,” Paul said during a heated face-to-face interview. “You’re obviously a sh*tbag, you’re obviously a piece of sh*t, but I’ll tell you what. If you show up to this fight October 14, I will rematch you in MMA.” The pair immediately shook hands, before Paul continued to attack his rival by calling him a “scumbag, piece of sh*t dirty f*cking a**hole.”

Dillon Danis may be in some serious trouble after openly attempting to evade process servers at both his home and his gym.

Earlier this month, Logan Paul’s fiancee, Nina Agdal, filed a lawsuit against Danis after the BJJ specialist had targeted her more than 250 times in an online attack that routinely poked fun at her past relationships and aimed to slut-shame her relentlessly. However, Danis appeared to take things a bit too far when he allegedly posted a sexually explicit image of Agdal that was taken behind closed doors and not meant for public distribution.

That in and of itself is both a state and federal crime, meaning Danis could be facing some serious legal ramifications on top of a lawsuit that could cost him hundreds of thousands of dollars.

Once news broke that Agdal had filed the suit, Danis never once wavered when it came to posting on social media. The undefeated Bellator fighter routinely posted images of process servers attempting to deliver legal documents to him and gloated about his ability to evade them, even going so far as to suggest that he had fled to North Korea to train ahead of his October 14 clash with Agdal’s partner, Logan Paul.

Danis’ Public Evasion Could Land Him in Some Extra Hot Water

Well, it now appears that has gotten Danis in even more trouble as recent court filings make note of Danis’ very public attempts at evasion.

“Defendant purposefully evaded service. In an X post at 3:44 p.m. EST on September 7, 2023, Defendant posted a picture of Sage investigators outside his gym which said, “Not gonna serve me today losers,” followed by a laughing emoji (emphasis added).

“Later on September 7, 2023, Defendant uploaded several additional posts to his X account about his attempts to evade service. In one post at 4:37 p.m. EST, which has since been deleted, Defendant wrote: “Being on the run sucks I just want to go to the gas station and get some zyns” followed by a laughing emoji (emphasis added).

“Given Defendant’s evasion of service on September 7, 2023, Sage left copies of the Summons, Verified Complaint, unexecuted Order to Show Cause, Memorandum of Law, and supporting Declarations outside of the front door of Defendant’s apartment (at approximately 5:23 p.m. EST) and with the receptionist at his gym (at approximately 5:27 p.m. EST).”

Currently, Dillon Danis’ scheduled scrap with Logan Paul for Misfits Boxing’s ‘The PRIME Card’ in Manchester is still on, but it remains to be seen if any of these legal issues will force him out of the bout, or for Misfits to pull the plug. In either event, the promotion has secured a backup for the bout. BKFC star ‘Platinum’ Mike Perry is standing by and ready to step in and square off with Paul should Danis exit the bout one way or another.

Days after TMZ reported that Logan Paul’s fiancée, Nina Agdal, filed a lawsuit against Dillon Danis, the BJJ specialist has allegedly fled to North Korea.

On October 14, Danis is expected to step inside the squared circle for his first fight in more than four years. Danis is scheduled for a co-main event clash with Logan Paul as part of Misfits Boxing’s ‘The PRIME Card’ in Manchester, England. However, the bout is currently in doubt after Danis’ relentless trolling of Paul and his fiancée has resulted in the latter filing a lawsuit against the former Bellator fighter.

Per the report, the 31-year-old swimsuit model is suing Danis citing “humiliation, emotional distress, and reputational harm” caused by Danis’ incessant online trolling since his bout with Logan Paul was announced in August. In addition to the lawsuit, Agdal was also granted a restraining order preventing Danis from further sharing images and slut-shaming her.

Despite being hit with the TRO, Dillon Danis has remained active on social media, poking fun at the process servers attempting to deliver court documents to him. “Not gonna serve me today losers,” Danis posted.

Dillon Danis Claims to Be in North Korea for a Training Camp

In another interesting twist, Dillon Danis claims to have fled to North Korea to begin training for his fight with Logan Paul next month. “Just landed in Pyongyang, North Korea to start my training camp,” Danis wrote on X.

Danis even shared ring cam footage of someone attempting to serve him paperwork while claiming to already be out of the country. “Get the fuck away from my door taking pictures and shit I’m in North Korea,” Danis wrote. “Come find me.”

With all of the latest twists and turns, it’s unclear if Dillon Danis will still show up in England for his scheduled showdown with the WWE Superstar. Fortunately, Misfits Boxing has already taken steps to make sure fans will still be treated to an exciting matchup, even if Danis withdraws or is ultimately pulled from the event. BKFC star ‘Platinum’ Mike Perry has been signed as the official backup for the bout, ensuring the event will still have something appealing for fight fans one way or the other.

So much so that the Danish swimsuit model filed for a restraining order against Danis after he had harassed her online more than 250 times, allegedly sharing sexually explicit photos of her from a romantic encounter more than a decade ago.

Danis’ efforts, no matter your personal opinion on them, have brought an insane amount of attention to himself and his scrap with Logan Paul next month. Unfortunately, Danis doesn’t appear to carry that same energy when he’s sat face-to-face with his foe. In a brief clip shared by Barstool Sports, Danis and Paul are seen sitting across from one another with another man appearing to act as the moderator.

The 22-second clip shows Dillon Danis frequently stumbling over his words to the point that Paul goes on to suggest it sounds like he has “Conor McGregor’s nutsack” in his mouth.

Logan Paul’s fiancée has finally had enough of Dillon Danis‘ non-stop trolling on social media.

On October 14, Danis is scheduled to compete for the first time in four years when he steps into the squared circle for a scrap with Logan Paul. While their fight is still more than a month away, the war began from the very moment the bout was first announced. Taking to social media, Danis has trolled Paul relentlessly, targeting the WWE Superstar’s fiancée, Danish swimsuit model Nina Agdal.

Dillon Danis has taken to sharing a never-ending stream of images, many of them featuring Agdal with a plethora of past partners. With most of those images being available via a simple Google search, Danis decided to step things up a bit by sharing a series of photoshopped images and memes in an attempt to slut-shame Agdal and humiliate Paul.

Paul let it be known that the constant stream of images had officially crossed the line, but that didn’t stop Danis from flooding his wall with unsavory pictures of Agdal. However, one image in particular seems to be the straw that finally broke the camel’s back.

On Wednesday, Nina Agdal filed a lawsuit against Dillon Danis according to a report from TMZ. In the report, it’s said that Agdal is accusing Danis of posting “despicable” things about her more than 250 times. On August 11, Danis is accused of sharing an image of Agdal that was taken during “a romantic encounter” more than a decade ago. The report claims that by sharing the image, Danis violated federal and state law.

“Danis posted the photograph — entirely uncensored — from his X (Twitter) account, without Plaintiff’s consent,” Agdal wrote in the suit. “Later that day, Danis reposted the explicit photograph in order to maximize the number of views it would receive.”

The image was later removed by Dillon Danis, but according to Agdal, that was only after Misfits Boxing intervened and threatened to pull the plug on his fight with Logan Paul.

Agdal claims to have suffered humiliation, emotional distress, and reputational harm since the onslaught of images began blowing up on Dillon Danis’ social media platforms. Documents also revealed that Agdal is suing for unspecified damages, but reportedly wants no less than $150,000 per violation of the federal law prohibiting the sharing of intimate images.

Dillon Danis Responds to the Lawsuit and TRO Filed by Nina Agdal

A temporary restraining order has been filed with the goal of preventing Dillon Danis from posting any sexually explicit images of Agdal. That comes in the wake of Danis’ claim that he has a shocking image and/or video of Agdal that would potentially result in the cancellation of his fight with Logan Paul.

Despite the seriousness of the situation, Dillon Danis seems to have no interest in adhering to the requests of the lawsuit or the TRO.

“Nina Adgel has filed a massive lawsuit against me,” Danis wrote on X. “She filed a restraining order against me and is seeking prison time, so the fight is in jeopardy if I’m in jail. This is actually wild but I won’t stop fuck the system come get me. Logan Paul is a dead man walking.”

Danis followed up his initial post saying, “I will provide more details when I can, but because it’s a federal case, I can’t at this time. P.S. fuck that hoe.”

Influencer boxing continues to roll on, in the latest sideshow Logan Paul and KSI will be fighting on the same card together on October 14. KSI will take on Tommy Fury, while Paul will take on Danis – the pair have called it the ‘Prime Card’ after their ‘hydration’ drink.

While both Paul and KSI have recently come under fire for their own controversies, which include use of racial slurs and a multi-million dollar scam, the drink itself has recently received heavy scrutiny. While both have marketed the drink as a hydration beverage, experts have claimed that the ingredients in the drink are not that of a useful hydration  

Logan Paul to take on Mike Perry

As Danis will be Paul’s opponent, there are concerns that he would pull-out of their scheduled bout. In fact, Danis has a clause in his contract that means he will have to pay $100,000 if he pulls out. 

They also gave a backup opponent for Paul, which is arguably a much harder task. Perry will replace Danis should he drop out and even appeared in a face-off with the influencer. 

Since leaving the UFC Perry has gone on a tear in the bareknuckle boxing world and is the sports biggest star. The American has maintained an all-action and come-forward style, putting on exciting fights. According to MMA legend, Matt Brown, Paul should be hoping that Danis does not pull out. 

“He does not want to f*** with Mike Perry,” Brown said on The Frighter Vs. The Writer. “Mike Perry’s not a great boxer either, but he doesn’t give a f***. (H/T MMA Fighting)

“He comes forward and throws bombs. I just watched him versus [Michael Page] in bare knuckle the other day, and it was like he has no technique at all. He just walks forward and throws, and he doesn’t look good doing it at all, but it f****** gets the job done. He’s praying that Dillon Danis shows up.”
