For the main card, switch to B/R Live at 8:30am EST/5:30am PST.

The main event of the 12-bout card will see ONE’s inaugural Featherweight Muay Thai World Champion becoming crowned. The two men facing off for the strap are Thailand’s Petchmorakot Petchyindee Academy and his compatriot Pongsiri PK.Saenchaimuaythaigym.

Petchmorakot was scheduled to meet Russia’s Jamal Yusupov, but after Yusupov failed a medical test, Petchmorakot found himself with a new and just as dangerous opponent.

The co-main event features an intriguing middleweight clash between the undefeated Dutchman Reinier de Ridder and Brazil’s Leandro Ataides. The winner of this bout could be looking at a title shot. Both men come into this contest carrying impressive winning streaks, and this bout should be one of the highlights of the night.

Another bout that fan should pay attention to is the lightweight contest between Iuri Lapicus and Russia’s Marat Gafurov. The unbeaten Lapicus trains out of Team Leone-Petrosyan and is a real prospect in the ONE lightweight division. This will be his second contest inside the ONE Circle.

He faces a real test in the form of Gafurov, the former ONE Featherweight World Champion, will test Lapicus’ ground game more than any other fighter he has ever faced. If the Moldavian can get his hand raised tonight in Jakarta, it will be a real wake-up call to the rest of the division.

ONE Championship featherweight Garry Tonon is on a mission to secure himself a date in the ONE Circle with the current king of the division Martin Nguyen.

In an Instagram post released yesterday by Tonon, the American BJJ legend called out the ONE Featherweight World Champion.

“This next message is for Martin Nguyen himself. I respect everything you have done in ONE Championship, becoming a champ-champ over there, and I aspire to do the same. I just have a little piece of advice for ya. [you] should probably take the fight now. The longer you wait, the worse it’s going to get.”

Tonon has begun actively campaigning for a shot at Nguyen’s title, asking fans to voice their support by messaging Nguyen, ONE Championship, and ONE CEO and Chairman Chatri Sityodtong.

He then went on to go into more detail as to why he deserves the fight in an interview with Bleacher Report.

Nguyen has been on fire recently, producing a pair of impressive performances in his two outings in 2019. It seems that the Vietnamese-Australian fighter has to come into his own ever since he began training under Henri Hooft and the rest of the team at Hard Knocks 365.

The 30-year-old has teased on social media that dates been set for his next fight, but so far, there is no official word on who Nguyen will be facing.

So far, Tonon seems to be one in the featherweight division who is doing his best to ensure that it will be him who squares off against the current featherweight champ.

For the main card, switch to B/R Live at 7:30am EST/4:30am PST.

The eleven-bout card will be headlined by a ONE strawweight world title clash between defending champion Joshua Pacio and former champion Alex Silva.

After riding a three-bout losing streak, Brazil’s Silva has chalked up two straight wins by beating Stefer Rahardian and Xuewen Peng. Pacio will provide a big step in competition for Silva, and the odds are that the hometown fighter gets the win on Friday night.

The 24-year-old Pacio has emerged as one of the world’s top strawweight fighters over the past few years and combines impressive wrestling with solid striking.

Silva has never stopped an opponent via strikes, with eight of his nine wins coming via submission. Pacio will feel confident that he has the measure of Silva on the feet and will also back himself to, at the very least, nullify Silva ‘s ground game.

Aside from the main event bout fans will want to keep an eye on the returning Team Lakay fighters Eduard Folayang and Danny Kingad.

Former UFC flyweight champion Demetrious Johnson will fight Adriano Moraes for the 135lb title at ONE: Reign Of Dynasties. The promotions CEO announced the fight earlier today. Speaking on social media Chatri Sityodtong said. “BREAKING NEWS: Demetrious Johnson (30-3) will challenge ONE Flyweight World Champion Adriano Moraes (18-3) for the world title on April 11 in China!”

The 33-year-old Johnson earned
his shot at the champion by winning the ONE flyweight Gran Prix. ‘Mighty Mouse’
picked up three wins in 2019 over tough opponents. He first beat Japan’s Yuya
Wakamatsu by submission in the tournaments quarter finals. In the first round
he managed to sink in a guillotine to begin his ONE career in impressive
fashion. Next, he fought another Japanese fighter in Tatsumitsu Wada. After three hard rounds ‘DJ’ picked up a unanimous
decision victory and advanced to the Gran Prix final where he met. The pair
fought a close competitive fight over 15 minutes but once again the former UFC
fighter emerged with the win. He’ll now get the chance to earn the second belt in
a second weight of his career.

Adriano Moraes will want to ensure that doesn’t happen. The 30-year-old Brazilian fighter hasn’t fought since he picked up the title against Geje Eustaquio almost a year ago. Moraes earned a unanimous decision result over five hard rounds. This came after falling short in his first shot at Eustaquio, suffering a split decision defeat back in June 2018.

ONE: Reign Of Dynasties card will be just one of 50 shows expected to be put on by the Asian promotion in 2020. The organisation announced this unprecedented level of cards last week ahead of their first event of the year in Bangkok, Thailand. This is eight more than they put on in 2019 with 42 total events with their last event being the ONE Hero Series in Beijing last month.

Will Demetrious Johnson beat Adrian Moraes to become ONE flyweight champion?
