Khabib has responded to Conor McGregor’s chaotic bus attack in Brooklyn, New York, earlier today.

After McGregor was caught on tape throwing a guardrail at a bus that the undefeated Dagestani was riding, word came that lightweight Michael Chiesa has been injured in the crossfire, before the New York police reportedly issued a warrant for the Irishman’s arrest.

The insane scene unfolded rapidly, with more details emerging that McGregor had come to New York City early to confront Nurmagomedov after he had bullied his longtime training partner Artem Lobov in a hotel earlier this week.

With the buzzing mess creating massive hype, ‘The Eagle’ finally addressed the situation to MMA Fighting’s Ariel Helwani, saying he was laughing at McGregor’s antics:

“I am laughing inside,” Nurmagomedov said. “You broke window? Why? Come inside. You know UFC don’t let you come inside. If you real gangster why don’t you come inside?

“This is big history gangster place. Brooklyn. You want to talk to me? Send me location. We have to talk? I am gonna come, no problem.

“I grew up like this. I don’t grow up throwing chairs at window. This is not my bus.”

Khabib clarified that most of his team wasn’t on the bus as Mcgregor threw a guardrail at it, only his manager and members of the red corner on Saturday night:

“This is not my team bus, this is red corner bus,” he said. “My whole team wasn’t with me. It was just me, (my manager) Ali Abdelaziz and a cornerman, Muhammed. The whole red corner was on the bus. Rose Namajunas, Al Iaquinta, Karolina Kowalkiewicz, Ray Borg. Everyone.”

‘The Eagle’ also cleared up that he wasn’t injured in the melee:

“I am good. I feel good. Tomorrow, I am going to make weight. On Saturday, I am going to take belt and change the game.”

Finally, Khabib said he didn’t want Mcgregor to go to jail because he would fight him anywhere if he only sent a location, and wanted to on the bus today. According to the undefeated contender, McGregor knew they wouldn’t let him leave and risk his main event at UFC 223:

“To be honest, I don’t want him to go to jail,” Nurmagomedov said. “We have to fight. If we have to fight, let’s fight. Send me location. Please, we have to fix this. Me and you. One-on-one. You want 10-on-10? OK.

“I give his whole team slap and no one say anything. He come with media, with cameras when I’m alone. Of course I want to go outside but they don’t let me leave the bus. He knows this.

“They don’t do nothing. I’m here.”

One of MMA’s most awaited fights could be happening soon if a report proves true.

‘The Notorious’ Conor McGregor lived up to his infamous nickname and then some when he crashed UFC 223 media day in Brooklyn, New York today, causing an all-out chaotic scene where he threw a guardrail at a bus transporting Khabib Nurmagomedov and his team, injuring lightweight Michael Chiesa in the process and reportedly resulting in an arrest warrant being issued for McGregor.

With the UFC and MMA as a whole scrambling to collect themselves and pick up the pieces of one of the most bizarre situations ever unfolding in the sport, more details began to emerge surrounding McGregor’s impromptu outburst.

The story was that McGregor had come to Brooklyn for this Saturday’s UFC 223, where UFC featherweight champion Max Holloway will meet Khabib for McGregor’s championship title, early after ‘The Eagle’ confronted his teammate Artem Lobov when he was isolated at a hotel this week.

So in a time when many have accused McGregor of ducking Khabib as he sits n the sidelines enjoying his newfound wealth, the Irish champion showed he’s willing to back up his team to no end, even if his outburst was dangerous, illegal, and could ultimately result in his being arrested. A more perhaps positive outcome of this scene could be that McGregor and Khabib finally meet in the octagon, which a source told Steven Muehlhausen McGregor now fully wants:

It may have taken an all-out chaotic melee to get it to happened, yet you can bet the UFC is still happy that the groundwork for a legendary Mcgregor vs. Khabib fight has been laid.

The UFC’s pay-per-view numbers consistently slumped to sometimes record lows during McGregor’s 7-month absence, and getting him back in the headlines and back in the octagon – one way or another – are obviously their clearest paths to making a much-needed windfall.

Dana White can say that it was the ‘most disgusting thing that’s ever happened in the UFC,’ but in truth, it may be one of the most lucrative, as well – just like Daniel Cormier and Jon Jones’ presser brawl before UFC 178 sent their 2-14 rivalry into space.

“The Eagle” did start something when he confronted Lobov in that hotel hall, and even though McGregor injured a fighter and broke the law, Khabib didn’t really respond or want to mix up. True, he’s fighting for the title against Holloway this week and has to stay on task.

But did he finally create a bout that could legitimately become the biggest fight in UFC history?

Conor McGregor has become both a wanted man and persona non grata after attacking a bunch of busses holding UFC 223 fighters while at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn on Thursday.

Shocking new video has surfaced showing McGregor throwing a metal object into a bus window, smashing it to pieces in the process.

Check out the footage here:

Dozens of fighters have descended upon Brooklyn for UFC 223 and Thursday’s press conference, where a handful of fighters squared off as fights were announced for the coming months.

UFC President Dana White says members of McGregor’ MacLife.com website snuck the UFC star into the Barclays Center, where he and fellow SBG teammate Artem Lobov stormed the indoor parking lot where the busses were held, likely in response to Khabib Nurmagomedov’s altercation with Lobov earlier this week.

White had said that the NYPD had issued a warrant for McGregor’s arrest, however, the department says they haven’t issued such warrant and that McGregor is not in police custody.

Several fighters sustained injuries during Thursday’s melee, with Michael Chiesa receiving cuts to the face due to broken glass.

Lobov has been removed from UFC 223 as a result of his participation in McGregor’s goon squad.
