EA Sports, the producers of UFC 4 – have added social media star, Hasbulla Magomedov to their video game this week in the form of a vanity pack, as well as three other fighters to the platform, in the bantamweight, lightweight, and welterweight weight classes.

Hasbulla Magomedov vanity pack added to UFC 4 in update from EA Sports

Hasbulla Magomedov, a social media star, who has been a prominent face at UFC events this year – particularly at cards hosted on ‘Fight Island’ in Abu Dhabi, UAE – will be available to players of the EA Sports game, in the form of a Hasbulla Magomedov vanity pack, a new update confirmed this Thursday evening.

“Brand NEW @Hasbulla_NFT collection in #UFC4,” EA Sports UFC tweeted. “What geat will you be fighting with? Available IN GAME NOW.”

Along with the Habsulla Magomedov vanities added to the game, the Canadian-based developer have also added to the UFC 4 game’s roster, in the form of European talents, Merab Dvalishvili at bantamweight, Mateusz Gamrot at lightweight, and the undefeated, Shavkat Rakhmonov at the welterweight limit of 170lbs.

Dvalishvili, a native of Georgia, has been sidelined since UFC 278 back in August of this year, securing another impressive victory in an Octagon walk against the now-retired former undisputed UFC and WEC featherweight titleholder, Jose Aldo.

As for former KSW two-weight champion, Gamrot, the Polish fighter and American Top Team mainstay, has yet to return since he saw his winning steak halted at the hands of the surging, Beneil Dariush at UFC 280 back in October on ‘Fight Island’.

Boasting a perfect finish rate and maintaining his undefeated Octagon record, Kazakh finisher, Rakhmonov most recently defeated Neil Magny earlier this year with a third round win. And is slated to fight fellow division contender, Geoff Neal at UFC Vegas 67 in January in what will come as a fifth Octagon walk for the 28-year-old.

UFC games will be running through EA Sports for the foreseeable future.

On Thursday, EA Sports announced that they had signed a multi-year renewal of their partnership to continue being the exclusive home of UFC games until 2030.

“We’re thrilled to extend our more than 10-year partnership with the UFC as we continue to build one of the fastest-growing sports franchises in the world, based on the rapidly expanding sport of MMA,” Cam Weber, Executive Vice President & Group GM, EA SPORTS said in a press release.

“This agreement will allow us to push the creative boundaries of mixed martial arts video games and connect millions more around the world to the culture of the sport.”

The latest installment from EA Sports was UFC 4 which released August 14 and features middleweight champion Israel Adesanya and BMF champion Jorge Masvidal on the cover.

Although there have been complaints about the gameplay as well as the overall roster, UFC 4 has still been a major success as a whole.

As per the press release, “fans played more than 64 million simulated UFC fights during the EA SPORTS UFC 4 launch week, a 125 percent year-over-year increase compared with the previous edition, EA SPORTS UFC 3.”

Pedro Munhoz was not pleased to find that he wasn’t in the new UFC 4 video game.

The latest installment of the fighting game from EA Sports is set to officially release August 14 and promises to be an even more groundbreaking edition to give fans a true Octagon experience.

However, there are many big names not available to play on the game’s roster and one of them is Munhoz who wasn’t happy about it.

“That’s some bullsh*t, man,” Munhoz said in a recent interview with James Lynch (via Bloody Elbow). “It just sucks. It’s something that I can not control. But, also, I think it’s some bullsh*t, you know?

“I tweet before, too, I’ve been in the UFC since 2014, next year it’s going to be seven years. I’ve fought the best fighters in the division and I compete in every one of my fights. But I think it’s not how good you are. I think it’s how many followers you have, you know?”

It certainly is a shame Munhoz is not in the game as he has long been a top contender in the bantamweight division and notably holds a knockout win over former 135-pound king Cody Garbrandt.

Hopefully, a future update sees him included.

In the meantime, he has more pressing issues as he is set to welcome Frankie Edgar into the bantamweight division when they headline UFC Vegas 7 on August 22.

What do you think of Munhoz not being included in UFC 4?

EA Sports have released a two-minute trailer for the UFC 4 video game which will be in stores from August 14.

UFC 4 is the latest installment by EA Sports which was set to be revealed during the UFC 251 pay-per-view event taking place tonight in Abu Dhabi. It now appears the gaming giants have decided to release the trailer a few hours early.

Last week the cover for UFC 4 was allegedly released, it featured UFC superstars Jorge Masvidal and Israel Adesanya. That leak seems to have been genuine as both Masvidal and Adesanya feature prominently in the official EA trailer promoting the game.

Another rumour that has been confirmed is the fact Tyson Fury will be a playable character in the game. Both he and his British rival Anthony Joshua will be available to anyone who decides to pre-order UFC 4. Check out the UFC 4 trailer below.

Fury Could Feature In New UFC Game

There’s a possibility we might see WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury in the new UFC game.

EA’s UFC 4 is expected to come out in the near future as fans will get a first glimpse into the game during the broadcast of UFC 251 which takes place July 11 on Abu Dhabi’s Fight Island.

A recent report by Forbes stated that Fury had struck a deal with EA to be included as a playable character in the game. And when UFC president Dana White was quizzed about the report, he had this to say:

“What? Where are you hearing this sh*t,” White responded with a laugh at the UFC Vegas 3 post-fight press conference last night (via MMA Fighting). “Tyson Fury might be.

“Aren’t we doing this in Abu Dhabi? Why are you asking me these questions now? Because I might tell you?”

The most recent game, UFC 3, was released in February 2018 and like UFC 2, featured Conor McGregor on the cover. This time, it will likely feature someone else with Jorge Masvidal supposedly being an option.

That’s going by one of the hints in Ali Abdelaziz’s tweet stating that lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov should be on the cover instead.

“This should be the new cover
This man never lost
I know who will be on the new cover
One is good but another has a double digit loses
EA sports people sucks @TeamKhabib”

What do you think of Fury being in the game? And who do you think should be on the cover of UFC 4?
