With the injury to UFC interim bantamweight champ Renan Barao, light heavyweight opponents ‘Suga’ Rashad Evans and Dan ‘Hendo’ Henderson have stepped into the main event.
The co-main event will see Brazilians Mauricio ‘Shogun’ Rua face Antonio Rogerio Nogueira, while heavyweights Roy ‘Big Country’ Nelson and Stipe Miocic were announced as a late addition to the card with the loss of the former main event.
UFC 161: Evans vs. Henderson is expected to take place on June 15, 2013 at the MTS Centre in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada.
The main card will appear on pay-per-view, while the prelim card is split between FX television and streaming video on Facebook.
