Holly Holm’s full-time mixed martial arts career will begin with Legacy Fighting Championship.

The top-ranked boxer turned MMA fighter has signed an exclusive four-fight deal with the promotion, Legacy FC owner and president Mick Maynard informed MMAFighting.com on Wednesday.

Holm, who will compete as a bantamweight, will make her promotional debut in Houston at Legacy FC 21 on July 19, which will also feature the debut of UFC veteran Leonard Garcia. Her opponent has yet to be signed.

Despite the exclusive contract, Maynard said he wouldn’t stand in the way of Holm signing with the UFC, should she be offered a deal while contractually tied to Legacy FC.

The 31-year-old Holm, who leaves boxing with a 33-2-3 record and titles in three different weight classes, announced last month that she would be focusing all her time and effort on MMA. Holm, who trains out of the Jackson-Winklejohn camp in Albuquerque, N.M., has a 3-0 MMA record, most recently defeating Katie Merrill via second-round TKO at Bellator 91.

Holm recently appeared on The MMA Hour to discuss her MMA aspirations. You can watch that interview below.
