A flyweight prospect has been added to the UFC’s growing 125-pound division.
Ali Bagautinov, a 2012 World Combat Sambo Championships gold medalist, has signed a contract with the UFC, a source within the promotion confirmed with FUEL TV’s “UFC Tonight,” which first reported the news on Tuesday. No word just yet on when the Russian fighter will debut or against who.
After beginning his career 2-2, the 27-year-old Bagautinov has won his last eight fights in a row. His last two wins have lasted a combined 52 seconds.
Below is a clip of his most recent win over Seiji Ozuka in April.
