The UFC has made the first meeting between former UFC light heavyweight champion Forrest Griffin and The Ultimate Fighter (TUF) season 1 finalist Stephan Bonnar available for free viewing. The bout is widely credited with securing a television deal with Spike TV and helping to launch the popularity of mixed martial arts in the U.S. It took place at The Ultimate Fighter Finale 1 on April 9, 2005.
Both Griffin and Bonnar are set to be inducted into the UFC Hall of Fame during the UFC 162 fight week.
