In case there was ever any doubt, Carlos Condit proved on Wednesday he’s still one of the top welterweights in the world.
After battling through back-to-back hard-fought losses, Condit obliterated any talk of a skid by pulverizing Martin Kampmann to claim a fourth-round TKO stoppage in the main event of UFC Fight Night 27. The victory avenged Condit’s 2009 loss to the Dane, serving as a violent reminder to the entire 170-pound division that Condit’s best days are far from behind him.
And as for the pros, they couldn’t have been more impressed.
