Current UFC 165 Betting Odds – On Saturday, September 21, 2013, UFC 165 will return to the Great White North as UFC 165 hits the airwaves live from the Air Canada Centre in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. In the main event of the evening, UFC Light Heavyweight champion Jon “Bones” Jones will look to defend his belt against versatile Swede Alexander “The Mauler” Gustafsson. Since being submitted by Phil Davis in 2010, Gustafsson has cemented himself as a top contender with a scary mix of heavy-handed boxing, solid wrestling, and submission prowess. Jones, though, is a freak of nature, equally capable of destroying opponents with overwhelming boxing, dominant wrestling, and a world-class submission game that many of his opponents just don’t see coming. If Gustafsson wants to leave the Octagon a UFC champion, he is going to have to find a way to not only deal with Jones’ incredible reach and physical gifts, but his world-class technique in every aspect of the fight game.

In the semi-main event, Renan Barao will put his submission prowess against the boxing and punching power of Eddie Wineland in a featured Bantamweight showdown. Barao, the interim champion, has proven that he can go with anyone in the world, but Wineland’s aggressive, frenetic style will prove a tough challenge for him if he wants to retain his World #1 ranking. The rest of the card features a big Heavyweight slugfest pitting Brendan Schaub against the constantly-improving Matt Mitrione and a Lightweight bout between Pat “Bam Bam” Healy and undefeated Russian Khabib “The Eagle” Nurmagomedov.
