Another Russian prospect is coming to the UFC.

The promotion has signed M-1 Global welterweight champion Rashid Magomedov (15-1), his manager Sam Kardan of Red Fury Fight Team and MVC Management informed MMAFighting.com. The Dagestani lightweight fighter is expected to make his Octagon debut at UFC 169 against fellow newcomer Tony Martin, according to Kardan.

The 29-year-old Magomedov (above, second from right) has won his last eight fights in a row. This bout will mark his first time fighting in North America, and he joins fellow Dagestani fighters Khabib Nurmagomedov, Rustam Khabilov and Azamat Gashimov in the UFC. He is also a one-time Hand-to-Hand Combat National Russia champion.

Martin will enter the fight riding a perfect 7-0 record.

UFC 169, headlined by Dominick Cruz vs. Renan Barao for the undisputed bantamweight title, is scheduled for Feb. 1 in Newark, N.J.
