UFC’s next trip to Dallas has a new bout.
Undefeated in MMA, Francisco Trevino will make his Octagon debut on March 15 against TUF: Brazil alum Renee Forte. The UFC announced the match-up on Monday.
Trevino signed with the promotion after racking up a perfect 11-0 MMA record. He has 10 victories under the South Texas Fighting Championships banner, including four knockouts and four submissions.
Forte (8-3) returns to the Octagon following a first-round knockout loss John Makdessi at UFC 165. The TUF: Brazil 1 fighter, who scored a decision victory over Terry Etim in his lightweight debut last February, looks to get back to the win column and move his UFC record to 2-2.
UFC 171 takes place at the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas, and is headlined by the a five-round battle between Johny Hendricks and Robbie Lawler for the vacant welterweight championship.
