Not that he has much skin in the game since retiring from fighting last May, but UFC Hall of Famer Forrest Griffin doesn’t appreciate the stigma of being a testosterone replacement therapy user. Speaking with WHOA TV, Griffin isn’t clear on why TRT isn’t treated like any other medication.

“Here’s what I don’t understand, What’s wrong with wanting to be better at your job? You only get one life. That’s it. I didn’t mean to have this sh***y body with sh***y genetics. I wanted a better one. I’ll be honest. I wanted to be much bigger, stronger and faster. If I could do that…

“People think TRT’s for lazy people. No, you’re just trying to improve yourself. All the drugs in the world ain’t gonna turn a Chihuahua into a Pit bull. I could do all the TRT in the world and [Jon] Jones would beat my ass every day, all day, but I could be the best me.”

Griffin was awarded and competed with a testosterone use exemption for his UFC 148 rubber match with Tito Ortiz in July 2012, the final bout of his career.

“I don’t think people get it, so f**k ’em. They take drugs just to stay happy. You take Prozac? Quit taking Prozac. No drugs but antibiotics. Don’t take drugs to improve yourself. Your kids take Ritalin? No! Bulls**t. They’re doing that to cheat in school.

When it comes to TRT poster boy Vitor Belfort, Griffin has a hunch as to why the Brazilian raised some eyebrows.

“You know what [Belfort’s] problem is? He looks like he might be doing some stunt double work for The Incredible Hulk. I NEED TRT!”

What Dana White Could Learn from Vince McMahon

Usually when people see comparisons between Dana White and Vince McMahon, it has to do with discussions of how the WWE and UFC do their PPV’s. Recently, it would be comparisons to the online subscriptions that their companies have put out. Hell, I’ve even a tell-of-the-tape between the two on Fuel TV if they were to ever fight one another. But this article has nothing to do with any of that.

I haven’t followed wrestling in years, though I used to quite closely. Over the last few years I had a friend that still followed that kept me up to date on the major stories, but he has since moved to China (no joke, he really lives in China now) and now I will look up the new stories every few months, but that is it. Being someone who once followed it closely though, I knew that Wrestlemania was coming up as well as the Hall of Fame inductions. So naturally, I was curious about the major matches and who would be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame.
