Bradley won the fight via split decision (113-115, 115-113, 115-113) to win the WBo welterweight belt over Pacquiao. It was Pacquiao’s first defeat in seven years at the time.
Pacquiao dropped the next fight as well against Juan Manuel Marquez as he was knocked out in the sixth round. Pacquiao bounced back to defeat Brandon Rios via unanimous decision on Nov. 24, 2013 to win the WBO international welterweight title.
Since the first Pacquiao fight, Bradley went on to defeat Ruslan Provodnikov via unanimous decision on March 16, 2013, and edged Marquez via split decision on Oct. 12, 2013.
