Looking for a UFC title shot? Just beat up Ronda Rousey’s friends. After cruising to a decision victory over Jessamyn Duke at UFC 172, Bethe Correia riled up the rest of Rousey’s ‘Four Horsewomen’ when she flashed four fingers to the camera, pulling a digit down to make it three. Calling the celebration disrespectful and ‘fake,’ fellow Horse Woman Shayna Baszler could be next for the Brazilian, according to Rousey.
“The interesting thing was after the fight she put up four fingers and pulled one down for three,” Rousey said on Fighter and the Kid. “It’s smart. That’s what they needed to do. The girls are taking the f***ing cue by getting people interested [in the women’s division] so now Shayna called this girl out and I think she’s fighting her next. I don’t know exactly when that fight will go down, but yea, Shayna and her.”
Should Correia make it 2-0 against the faction, Rousey wants the next crack at her.
“This is like a perfect WWE storyline. She puts down her finger and makes three, Shayna wants to fight her next. Now this chick’s undefeated fighting in Shayna’s UFC debut. It’s either going to be a huge win for Shayna or this girl’s still going to be undefeated and I want to have a huge title fight. This girl will have fought four or five girls and coming after me.
“I was just watching that Floyd Mayweather and Marcos Maidana All Access and his team was talking about putting down Maidana and [Mayweather] was like, ‘No, don’t do that. Maidana’s a tough guy. I’m just pissed because he beat Adrien Broner. I’m just mad about it.’ That’s a storyline. That’s Shayna’s storyline right now and either she beats her, moves on and is a bigger name or it moves on to be my storyline.”
With the women’s division being as young as it is, Rousey says Correia would more than qualify for a title shot at 9-0.
“I’m saying, if Miesha Tate can get a title shot and she hadn’t even won a single match in the UFC then this chick who’s undefeated and beat two of my friends could be a very interesting fight for me. I’m 100% behind Shayna. I think Shayna could f***in’ handle it and will shove the s**t in this girl’s face. There’s no lose in this situation.
“It’s not just girls playing Miss America like they were before I came along. When everyone was trying to not have any confrontational anything, ever. Not piss anyone off.”
Rousey defends her women’s bantamweight title to Alexis Davis July 5 at UFC 175.

Missing from the theatrics of UFC pay-per-view cards is more smoke, bells and whistles. I thought of this questioning why a growing number of fans want to see Jon Jones dethroned; after seeing him screaming around and dancing like Ray Lewis or something in his ring walk Saturday night, I understand a little more why fans feel this way towards him . If Jones is going to put on show, can’t they get some music and lights on him while he makes his way to the ring. UFC needs to embrace his gamemanship, not limit him.
