Soa Palelei is getting right back to work.
Just days after the Australian knocked out Ruan Potts UFC Fight Night in Cincinatti, the UFC is working towards booking booking Palelei vs. Jared Rosholt at UFC Fight Night New Zealand on June 28, according to sources with knowledge of the situation.
Palelei (21-3) has won his last 11 fights in a row all via KO or TKO. He’s 3-0 since returning to the UFC last year.
Rosholt (10-1) is 2-0 inside the Octagon, most recently defeating Daniel Omielanczuk via unanimous decision last month in Abu Dhabi.
The event, headlined by James Te Huna vs. Nate Marquardt, will air on UFC Fight Pass in the United States from Vector Arena in Auckland, N.Z.
