Round 1: Here we go. Belaltor’s first PPV, and Michael Page — who’s built up a cult following — kicks it off against Ricky Rainey. The referee for this one is Kevin MacDonald. They touch them up. Page already into his corkscrew wind up. They exchange, with Rainey moving forward. Page rolling and circling. He comes in with a kick, hands down near his waste. He throws Rainey to the ground momentarily, but lets him back up. Strafing Rainey with his jabs. Page staring away from Rainey, not concerned at all as Rainey tries to lay some leather on him from range. Such showmanship from the British fighter Page. Now he ties Page up and puts his back on the fence. A couple of knees in the clinch, and they break. More showboating from page, swiveling his hips, and the crowd in Memphis boos. He sticks a stout jab home on Rainey, and then comes in with a flying knee. Rainey ties him up again and drives him into the fence. He is leveraging, getting his knees on Page, and for a brief moment trips Page to the canvas. They get back up, though, and right back to fence. Now Page reverses and back peddles out. Spinning backfist from Page, right after a flying knee. Page from a crouch springs forward with a jab. Boom! A huge right hand, one-punch knockout from Page. Such nonchalance! Just landed a casual overhand right, just as Rainey was swooping in. Total poise from Page.
