Round 1: Yves Lavigne is the referee in charge. Both fighters throwing lots of spinning attacks and push kicks, but neither landing anything of significance. Santos with an inside leg kick. And an outside. Great jab by Hall, but another outside leg kick for Santos. Inside leg kick for Santos, but he eats a jab. More inside legs from Santos. He briefly slips, but stands without taking damage. Both fighters exchange rights, Hall getting the better of it. Another inside leg kick from Santos. Great left hook on Santos by Hall, who is now pressuring forward. Santos cracks two more leg kicks.

Round 2: Santos opens with two hard leg kicks. Decent jab from Hall and he barely avoids eating Santos’ overhand right. Santos lands more inside and outside leg kicks. Outside leg kick from Santos whips Hall around, which allows Santos to crack him with a hook. Another hard outside leg kick from Santos after a brief slip. And another. Missed head kick attempt from Santos and Hall lands his own leg kick. Terrible takedown attempt from Santos is shrugged off and both fighters attempt flashy kicks that land nowhere. Rolling axe kick from Hall goes nowhere.

Round 3: Santos with a body kick that partially lands. Outside leg kick, too. Decent one-two down the middle for Hall finds the mark. Turning back kick for Santos partially lands. Good overhand right lands for Hall. Cracking body shot for Santos and a decent head kick to follow. Spinning back partially lands for Hall, but then a switch kick actually does. Hall absorbs a groin kick and the bout is temporarily halted. The bout resumes and Santos attempts a takedown. He can’t get it, but he does get behind Hall and presses him against the fence. Hall dives for a kimura, but can’t get it and eats shots as a process.
