Bobby Green has long been willing to take on any and all comers. Edson Barboza is next in line.

The two will square off in the lightweight co-main event of the UFC Fight Night card in Austin, Texas on Nov. 22. The bout was announced on Wednesday’s edition of UFC Tonight.

The outspoken Green, of Riverside, Calif., has won eight consecutive fights, and is 4-0 since joining the UFC. Green (23-5) scored his biggest career win in his last fight, scoring a split decision over Josh Thomson at UFC on FOX in San Jose in July.

Green was expected to meet Jorge Masvidal at UFC 178, then was instead slated against Donald Cerrone. But he was yanked from the bout when Eddie Alvarez became available to meet Cerrone. Green was re-offered the slot against Masvidal, but instead asked to take some time off.

Barboza (14-2), meanwhile, has long seemed on the cusp of a breakthrough. The Brazilian, who has 11 career finishes, shook off a loss to Cerrone in January and finished Evan Dunham in the second round on July 16.
