Yesterday, the UFC and Reebok announced a new uniform and, as part of that, a new UFC uniform policy. Among a variety of other changes, Fighters won’t be able to have their own sponsors as part of any official UFC activity, from fights to weigh-ins to ‘Countdown’ shows and much more. The changes won’t go into effect until July of next year.

In the meantime, there’s a lot to unpack. We don’t know what the final sum of money Reebok is offering and UFC claims they’re only taking enough money from the program to cover a tiny fraction of the costs.
