A welterweight bout between Charlie Brenneman and Amilcar Alves will be part of the UFC’s currently unannounced Jan. 22 event.
Sources close to the competitors today alerted MMAjunkie.com about the bout, which is in the process of being finalized.
Currently, few details are known about the Jan. 22 show, which conceivably could be UFC Fight Night 23, UFC on Versus 3 or some other UFC event offering.
