UFC releases Charlie Brenneman and Isaac Vallie-Flagg

A pair of UFC lightweights announced their release from that organization Tuesday on Twitter.

Charlie Brenneman, 33, was on his second UFC career stint, the most recent running 0-3. ‘The Spainard’ was stopped in all three of his most-recent UFC bouts, to Beneil Dariush, Danny Castillo and Leandro Silva, respectively. Brenneman previously competed in the UFC as a welterweight from March of 2010 to September of 2012. During that eight-bout run, Brenneman amassed a record of 4-4.

His pro record sits at 19-8.
