Matt Brown vs. Brian Foster official for UFC 123 "UFC Prelims" slot

A welterweight bout between Matt Brown and Brian Foster now is official for next month’s UFC 123 event.

MMAjunkie.com first reported the fighter earlier this month after an injured Rory MacDonald opened the door for Foster.

UFC executives since have made it official for the Nov. 20 card, which takes place at the Palace of Auburn Hills in suburban Detroit.
