The fight card for World Extreme Cagefighting’s final event is nearly complete.
WEC brass today officially announced that longtime veteran Ivan Menjivar will make his WEC debut against British
bantamweight Brad Pickett at “WEC 53: Henderson vs.
Pettis.”
WEC 53 takes place Dec. 16 at Jobing.com Arena in Glendale, Ariz., and
features a lightweight title showdown between current champion Benson
Henderson and challenger Anthony Pettis. It is the final WEC event
before its sister promotion, UFC, absorbs its talent.
