WEC 52 salaries: Faber, Benavidez and Assuncao lead $284,500 fighter payroll

Main-event victor Urijah Faber ($56,000), main-card winner Joseph Benavidez ($35,000) and preliminary-card fighter Raphael Assuncao ($26,000) were the top earners at Thursday’s WEC 52 event.

MMAjunkie.com today requested and received the list of disclosed paydays from the Nevada State Athletic Commission.

The total disclosed payroll for the event was $284,500.
