John Dodson was arguably Demetrious Johnson’s toughest test. Now, Johnson will have to take it again.

Johnson will defend his flyweight title against Dodson in the main event of UFC 191 on Sept. 5 in Las Vegas, the UFC announced during UFC Fight Night: Mir vs. Duffee on Saturday night.

Johnson (22-2-1) has rounded into one of the most dominant champions in the UFC, but Dodson took two rounds from him when they met in January 2013. Johnson, 28, has won eight straight fights and is coming off a fifth-round submission win over Kyoji Horiguchi at UFC 186 back in April.

Dodson (17-6) has won three straight since falling to Johnson. “The Magician” had a lackluster performance in a unanimous decision win over Zach Makovsky at UFC 187 in May, but earned the title shot anyway. The 30-year-old is the most athletic and dynamic fighter in the division, even more so than Johnson.

Also added to the UFC 191 card was a light heavyweight bout between Anthony Johnson and Jan Blachowicz and a bantamweight all-action showdown between Francisco Rivera and John Lineker.

The UFC 191 co-main event has not yet been announced.
