Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) was forced to make a late change to its upcoming UFC on FOX 18: “Johnson vs. Bader” mixed martial arts (MMA) fight card, taking place a week from Saturday night (Jan. 30, 2016) inside Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey.

That’s because Andrew Holbrook went and got himself injured.

Taking his place against the undefeated Sage Northcutt (7-0) — now at welterweight — is fellow up-and-comer Bryan Barberena (10-3). “Bam Bam” is coming off a loss to Chad Laprise last April, but hey, beggars can’t be choosers when it’s less than two weeks before fight night.

DON’T BLAME THE PRETTY BOY!

It should be noted that Barberena was originally slotted to bang with welterweight prospect Jonavin Webb in Pittsburgh (see that fight card here); however, this change of plans will leave “Spyder” with a new opponent next month in “Steel City.”
