Sage Northcutt thanks fans for support, emulates Harlem Globetrotters

After his first professional loss, the controversial UFC prospect issued a statement thanking fans.

After being handed the first loss in his professional career at the hands of Bryan Barberena at UFC on Fox 18, 19-year-old Sage Northcutt posted a message of gratitude to all fans and supporters via Twitter.

Here’s what he had to say:

Thank you all for the support this weekend and everybody that tuned in and watched. I’ll be back better than ever! pic.twitter.com/tqbP7tX6cx

Not to be a one-note man, he also decided to multitask as seen in the brief video above by channeling his inner Meadowlark Lemon. Considering fan reaction after his loss, the Texan appears to be taking things in stride and not focusing too much on any negativity at all.

This appears to be consistent with his modus operandi when dealing with “negative stuff“. After some recent words of encouragement from his peers, he seems to have enough support and we should be hearing news about his next bout soon.
