Donald Cerrone’s thrill-seeking lifestyle — which includes exploring caves and climbing tall rocks, among many other things — leaves him open for potential accidents and injuries.
But in life, a drive down the street can leave you open for those same accidents, too. Something “Cowboy” learned the hard way as he rolled his pickup truck on Tuesday in the snowy fields of New Mexico.
Work hard, play harder.
Thankfully, “Cowboy” wasn’t injured, and he managed to make his scheduled training sessions. It’s a good thing, too, as he is scheduled to headline UFC Fight Night 83 on Feb. 21, 2016 against Tim Means.
“Yes everyone, I’m okay,” Cerrone wrote on Instagram. “Rolled truck and still made all my workouts for the day. My truck’s hurt, not me. Have no fear, I will still make my fight.”
I’m sure Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) officials are breathing a sigh of relief, too, because losing two headlining acts in the same month is the last thing anyone wanted to face.
