Lil’ Nog will try to end a two-fight losing skid when he takes on Patrick Cummins at UFC 198 in Brazil on May 14th.
Another Brazilian veteran has been added to UFC 198, as Combate reports that Antonio Rogerio Nogueira will take on Patrick Cummins in Brazil on May 14.
The 39-year-old Lil’ Nog (21-7) will try to bounce back from two consecutive losses, a unanimous decision “Fight Of The Night” to Mauricio Rua at UFC 190, plus a brutal 44-second KO to Anthony Johnson in July 2014. Before that, Nogueira was riding a two-fight winning streak with victories over Rashad Evans and Tito Ortiz.
In what will be his fourth trip to Brazil, Patrick Cummins (8-3) looks to recover from a second-round TKO loss to Glover Teixeira last November. The last time “Durkin” won a fight was against Rafael Cavalcante, by third round TKO, at UFC 190.
Antonio Rogerio Nogueira and Patrick Cummins will likely be a part of UFC 198’s main card, which is targeted to be headlined by a heavyweight title fight between Fabricio Werdum and Stipe Miocic. A city has not yet been established to host the event.
