Renowned British actor Vinnie Jones picked Conor McGregor to beat Nate Diaz at UFC 196.
Ahead of the highly anticipated UFC 196 pay-per-view event this weekend, a slew of celebrities have shown their support for featherweight champion Conor McGregor.
The latest British star to show his support for McGregor is renowned actor Vinnie Jones. Asked by TMZ Sports if he was a “McGregor supporter,” Jones responded: “Ya, of course.”
As the reporter continued his stroll with Jones through the airport, he asked Jones whether a McGregor loss would end the money train and minimize his celerity status.
“No. Stone Cold [Steve Austin] is still going, isn’t he? He’s got a great TV show. You should see Stone Cold’s TV show.”
Jones, a former professional soccer player for 15 years before he turned to acting in movies like Snatch and Lock, Stock, and Two Smoking Barrels, added that all athletes have to retire at some point and McGregor is no different.
“We all have to retire sometime. Them knees give away, mate or your judge dies and he can’t represent you.”
