A blockbuster UFC 196 pay-per-view (PPV) event will pack MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, tonight (Sat., March 5, 2016) for the leading mixed martial arts (MMA) promotion when the main card gets underway at 10 p.m. ET.
However, before fans are treated to the evening’s main courses, a set of seven “Prelims” matches from the UFC 196 undercard will air on two different platforms, beginning with the UFC Fight Pass digital network at 6:30 p.m. ET.
That’s when Featherweight prospects, Julian Erosa and Teruto Ishihara, attempt to set the tone for the rest of the evening. The action on Fight Pass concludes with a thrilling Lightweight match-up pitting battle-tested veterans, Diego Sanchez and Jim Miller, against each other.
Then it’s time to switch on over to FOX Sports 1 (FS1) at 8 p.m. ET for the four remaining “Prelims” fights.
The cable television network will host a Featherweight contest between Darren Elkins and Chas Skelly, before dangerous Brazilian finishers Vitor Miranda and Marcelo Guimaraes go toe-to-toe in a Middleweight bout.
Before the “Prelims” main event that features struggling, but extremely entertaining, Welterweight strikers Brandon Thatch and Siyar Bahadurzada, talented 170-pounders Erick Silva and Nordine Taleb collide.
