THE FIGHT SUMMIT today announced the addition of its final two speakers for the conference. Keith Kizer of the Nevada State Athletic Commission (NSAC) will be covering the topic of “Understanding the Commission.” Also, the President of Fight! Magazine, Donovan Craig, will be speaking on “Running media and covering MMA.” The complete list of speakers and topics can be found at the FIGHT SUMMIT website (www.FightSummit.com).
Keith Keizer is the Executive Director of the NSAC, which is the most recognized and respected athletic commission in combat sports today. Mr. Kizer is a former Nevada State Chief Deputy Attorney General, Gaming Division, and graduated cum laude with his Juris Doctor from the University of Illinois College of Law in 1991. He handles the day-to-day operations of the Commission, and regulates contests and exhibitions of unarmed combat, including licensure and supervision of boxers, kickboxers, managers, matchmakers, mixed martial artists, promoters, ring officials, and seconds. He is well-respected amongst MMA officials for his fairness and support of the sport. Mr. Kizer’s talk will be a great way to learn more about athletic commissions, and how to work with them effectively.
Donovan Craig is a former boxer and stockbroker who has guided Fight! Magazine into one of the most influential and popular MMA magazines in existence. The magazine has received accolades for its coverage of the UFC, Strikeforce, and other major promotions, as well as showcasing regional promotions and new talents.
