ST. LOUIS – A final training session resulted in a facial cut that forced him off this weekend’s “Strikeforce: Henderson vs. Babalu II” card, but Herschel Walker soon could be back in action.
During Showtime’s broadcast of the Saturday event, the organization officially announced a major show for Jan. 29 at the HP Pavilion in San Jose, Calif.
The first fight announcements could be made in the coming week, CEO Scott Coker said. And Walker’s name could be on the list, he told MMAjunkie.com.
