Some new data from Business Insider shows just where all the big athletes are in the sporting world, UFC rates both older and smaller than many.

We all knew it was true, if you’re a big athletic, freak-talent kind of person mixed martial arts is probably not your best way to make a buck. Huge people are already a rare commodity on the global scale. Add in athletic gifts and you’ve got a set of genes that could command a king’s ransome, if you play the right games. Now, SportChart has plotted it all out for you to show just what the average athletes in some of the world’s most popular sports look like.

What’s even better is, they’ve broken it all down by position, so there’s a lot to digest. Here’s a quick peak at their chart:

The chart also includes a more detailed look at some of the size range groupings within each data point. The UFC data isn’t necessarily all that deep, considering it only appears to look at heavyweight and flyweight fighters and none of the divisions in-between, but it’s interesting to see that the UFC points represent both some of the smallest and some of the oldest, right up there with being a designated hitter or a bobsled team member.
