Ahead of his rematch with Nate Diaz at UFC 202, Conor McGregor works on his jiu jitsu with one of the best in the world.
As we move move ever closer to the most anticipated mixed martial arts rematch of the year, McGregor vs. Diaz 2, the athlete’s training intensifies. Over the last few weeks, McGregor has summoned Irish Olympic boxers to spar with him and this week, the UFC featherweight champion has brought Dillion Danis to SBG.
In March, at UFC 196, McGregor succumbed to a rear naked choke at the hands of Nate Diaz and it is obvious that the Dubliner is looking the shore up his defense by training with the ever-aggressive Danis. Danis, a black belt under Marcelo Garcia, is deep into preparations for Copa Podio and will be sure to provide McGregor with a level of grappling training that he is not currently accustomed to.
Conor McGregor will look to return to winning ways when he faces Nate Diaz at UFC 202, on August 20, at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
