The complete list of the UFC’s 200 greatest fighters of all-time

Here is the UFC’s complete list of its 200 greatest fighters of all-time, which recently was revealed in its entirety prior to last Saturday’s UFC 200.

This is a few days old, but we thought it would be best to share with you the UFC’s 200 greatest fighters of all-time. As the six-part television (and Fight Pass) special noted, “a committee of journalists, commentators, and other experts cast their votes, compiled here in a list submitted for your consideration, of 200 of the greatest UFC fighters of all-time.”

Before you get confused as to why someone like Mirko Cro Cop is ranked above Tim Sylvia when Cro Cop was a massive bust in the UFC, or why Fedor Emelianenko isn’t here at all, here’s a refresher on the criteria.

“Please note that any fighter who has competed inside the Octagon from UFC 1 up until UFC 200 is eligible for consideration, and fighters are being judged on their entire body of work in mixed martial arts. Contributing factors in the decision will include: championship reigns, win-loss record, caliber of opponent, era in which they competed, athletic innovation and historic relevance.”

The first episode aired back in May on Memorial Day Weekend, so it won’t take into account anything that has happened in the UFC over the past couple of events. Ranking 100 fighters, never mind 200, isn’t easy, so there is bound to be plenty of disagreement here. I, for one, cannot fathom why neither John Lineker nor Ilir Latifi is in the top 200, which invalidates everything you’re about to read in the two tables.
