Round 1 is in the books, and it was a crazy one. A #1 seed eliminated, 5 upsets, and a draw that led to a previously eliminated #7 seed getting a second shot at the tournament. Our wild card fight saw Dominick Cruz take a domin8ing decision over Mark Kerr and Sean Sherk. Cruz is back in it, and will rematch his BE’s Baddest rival Demetrious Johnson later this round.

Today we kick off the second round with a 1 vs 5 match-up, but if the previous round was any indication, don’t expect this to be a cakewalk for the #1 seed. Here, #1 Ben Askren, fresh off his win over Josh Koscheck, takes on #5 Cain Velasquez, who upset Yoel Romero last round. We’ve already seen top seeded Khabib Nurmagomedov fall – can Velasquez pull off his second upset and take out another top name?
