Bisping ‘officially’ challenges ‘p**sy’ GSP to showdown in Toronto

UFC middleweight champ Michael Bisping has called out Georges St-Pierre for a fight at UFC 206 in Toronto.

Although UFC president Dana White thinks Georges St-Pierre is done with MMA, Michael Bisping wants to welcome the Canadian back to the Octagon at UFC 206 in Toronto.

Bisping, who captured the middleweight title after knocking out Luke Rockhold in the first round at UFC 199, officially challenged GSP to a non-title fight at a catchweight of 180-pounds.

“Quit being a p**sy Georges,” Bisping told Daily Star Sport on Tuesday. “I officially challenge Georges St-Pierre to a fight in Toronto in December. I’ll fight him at 180lbs. Right here, right now, I challenge him.”

GSP, who is widely regarded as the best welterweight champion of all time, vacated the belt and retired from the sport after defending his crown for the 9th time against Johny Hendricks in 2013.

Bisping, a UFC veteran of 10 years, will defend the 185-pound title against Dan Henderson at the promotion’s Manchester show on October 8.

‘The Count’ says he’s willing to fight St-Pierre in Canada just two months after his bout with Henderson at UFC 204.

“I would love to fight Georges St-Pierre in December in Toronto. I fight in October, I could make it in December. That’s two months. Easy peasy lemon squeezy.”

GSP seems most open to a rematch with welterweight rival Nick Diaz, who he beat at UFC 158 in Montreal, but Bisping’s name has also been thrown into the mix. The former champion is hopeful of a return but says the Reebok sponsorship deal is a major hurdle.

Bisping will rematch Henderson — this time with UFC gold on the line — at UFC 204 in Manchester, England on October 8.
