Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) featherweight champion Conor McGregor had words with longtime veteran and 145-power puncher Jeremy Stephens at the UFC 205 press conference on Tuesday (Sept. 27, 2016) inside Madison Square Garden in New York City.

But after the cameras stopped rolling, “Lil’ Heathen” went after the “Notorious” Irishman to settle their beef backstage. Much to his chagrin, Stephens was felled by the dreaded mortise latch and forced to put his feud with the “ginger crackhead” on hold.
From his Facebook rant:
“I’m not sure what that fire crotch said, I couldn’t really hear at the presser. It didn’t really matter. I went backstage and that little leprechaun wanted no part of it. He locked himself in a room. He talks a big fictional character up but he didn’t want to back it up, he was locked in a little room. Hopefully he’ll step up to the plate and fight a real savage like me. You know I’ll mop the floor with that little ginger crackhead any day.”

Alrighty then.
In order to get to McGregor, Stephens must first get past former lightweight champion Frankie Edgar, who meets “Lil’ Heathen” at the UFC 205 PPV in November, which just so happens to be where McGregor will be fighting Eddie Alvarez for the 155-pound strap.
