As noted, former UFC Middleweight Champion Chris Weidman made it clear he wasn’t impressed with current 185-pound title-holder Michael Bisping’s first defense of the belt against 46-year-old Dan Henderson, who dropped Bisping on multiple occasions during their fight in his hometown of Manchester, England at this past Saturday’s UFC 204: Bisping vs. Henderson 2 pay-per-view.
Outside of the comments made by Bisping in his post-fight interview in the Octagon this past weekend, we haven’t had the privilege of hearing what the always-unfiltered British mega-star thinks about all that Weidman has had to say about his rematch with the MMA legend.
Until now.
Reigning UFC Middleweight Champion Michael Bisping appeared on UFC’s official podcast “UFC Unfiltered” this week and reacted to the trash-talk from Weidman like only “The Count” can.
“I mean of that f*cking whiner, that cry baby Chris Weidman wants to do it, then I’m more than happy to do it,” said Bisping during his appearance on the show. “If he gets past Yoel Romero next month, let’s do it soon. I’m happy to. He thinks I’m ducking him, he’s f*cking crazy. I’ve never ducked anybody in my life, I’m certainly not going to start with that f*cking douchebag.”
Bisping continued, “So, if he wants to do it, he can come out here and he can try to wrestle and do that, but he’ll find himself getting punched in the face repeatedly, then … I’m going to finish Chris Weidman. That’s for sure.”
