That’s the new message from former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) middleweight champion Anderson Silva, who recently slammed the world’s preeminent mixed martial arts (MMA) promotion over mistreatment.
But after UFC President Dana White went on record to insist “The Spider” was the last fighter on the roster to start complaining about … anything, Silva backtracked on his earlier comments and took a much softer stance.
“Definitely, I need to say sorry for everything that happened now with UFC,” Silva told TMZ. “Because, you know, Dana White is Dana White.”
Silva (33-8, 1 NC) hasn’t been seen since getting mugged by Daniel Cormier at UFC 200, a short-notice bout the Brazilian accepted in place of the troubled Jon Jones. “The Spider” is expected to return later this year against an opponent to be named.
