Bellator 169: “King Mo vs. Ishii” takes place at 3Arena in Dublin, Ireland, on Dec. 16, 2016, which features fighters from BAMMA, has already announced Muhammed “King Mo” Lawal vs. Satoshi Ishii as a Heavweight main event for the co-promoted show. Joining them on the Irish expedition will be Featherweight fighter and former No. 1-ranked contender Daniel Weichel (37-9), who will tangle with Dublin’s own Paul Redmond (11-6).
Out of his last 10 fights, Weichel’s only loss came at the hands of Patricio Freire at Bellator 138 when he challenged for the Featherweight title. The German born and bred fighter issn’t likely to be a fan favorite in Ireland going up against Redmond, who has fought on two Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) cards in Europe in 2015 before his release.
