Georges St-Pierre learns ‘crazy, awesome choke,’ still not allowed to comeback to UFC

Training with @zach_makovsky yesterday. He showed me a crazy awesome choke. I really didn’t expected that! pic.twitter.com/YebTiswgZw

Just in case Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) has a change of heart, Georges St-Pierre is still learning new Brazilian jiu-jitsu tricks ahead UFC 206, which takes place in Toronto, Ontario, Canada on Dec. 10, 2016. After all, no one really wants to get embroiled in an extensive — and expensivelegal battle, right?

Nevermind.

Nonetheless, the French-Canadian is still looking for emancipation from his contract. He was almost free, but then UFC had to go and ruin all the fun. It’s really a stupid impasse — UFC 206’s line up is pretty awful right now. Even the man who is charged with leading the pay-per-view (PPV), Daniel Cormier, knows it. But, there is more to the story than meets the eye.

We can certainly hold out hope that cooler heads will prevail between now and fight night. St-Pierre wants to fight and there are no shortage of possible suitors. We were “promised” mind-blowing things. And UFC always honors its promises. No, really.
