There are not one, but TWO UFC events next week. The first one is a UFC Fight Pass streamed show from Belfast, Northern Ireland. Gunnar Nelson vs. Dong Hyun Kim was the original main event, but a Nelson injury means that the new main event is between Gegard Mousasi and Uriah Hall. Last year, Hall famously knocked out Mousasi with a spinning back kick and a flying knee, but he’s a big underdog once again heading into this one.
The co-main event is between lightweights Ross Pearson and Stevie Ray, with Ray replacing an injured James Krause. Rounding out the main card is the debut of former Bellator heavyweight champion Alexander Volkov, who will take on Timothy Johnson. Meanwhile, Japanese featherweight prospect will battle Artem Lobov.
On the preliminary card, Neil Seery will battle Ian McCall in the final fight of Seery’s career. Ali Bagautinov vs. Kyoji Horiguchi was supposed to be on the cancelled UFC Manila show, but it was moved to this event instead. Another good fight to keep an eye on is a lightweight matchup between Magomed Mustafaev and Kevin Lee.
