UFC’s early 2017 event schedule includes February PPV in Brooklyn

The UFC’s next pay-per-view event in New York will be at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, while their return to London is official for March.

In news that is a few days old (but still worth reporting anyway), the UFC has revealed their event schedule for the first three months of 2017. Of note, Brooklyn, New York’s Barclays Center will host UFC 209 on February 11th, while the promotion’s return to London is set for March 18th on Fight Pass.

This year, the UFC ran 8 events through the first three months. Next year it will be 10, with 3 PPVs and 7 Fight Night cards. Here’s the complete schedule:

Sunday, January 15th – UFC Fight Night (FS1) in Phoenix, Arizona
Saturday, January 21st – UFC 208 (PPV) in Anaheim, California
Saturday, January 28th – UFC on FOX 23 in Denver, Colorado

Saturday, February 4th – UFC Fight Night (FS1) in Houston, Texas
Saturday, February 11th – UFC 209 (PPV) in Brooklyn, New York
Sunday, February 19th – UFC Fight Night (FS1) in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada

Friday, March 3rd – UFC Fight Night (TBD) in Las Vegas, Nevada
Saturday, March 4th – UFC 210 (PPV) in Las Vegas, Nevada
Saturday, March 11th – UFC Fight Night (FS1) in TBD, Brazil
Saturday, March 18th – UFC Fight Night (Fight Pass) in London, England

It should be noted that UFC 208, scheduled for Anaheim’s Honda Center, will be the same night as Bellator 170: Sonnen vs. Ortiz at The Forum in Los Angeles. So the UFC and Bellator will be going on simultaneously with major events separated by about 30 miles.
