After quickly choking out Paige VanZant, Michelle Waterson moved into the top 10 of the UFC’s strawweight rankings.
There weren’t too many changes to the UFC rankings following last weekend’s FOX card, and that’s no surprise given the lack of ranked fighter. We did have ranked competitors in the main event, and with Michelle Waterson’s 1st round rear-naked choke over Paige VanZant, “The Karate Hottie” is firmly in the strawweight division’s top 10. While VanZant lost for the 2nd time in 3 fights, she’s still on the outer edges of the top 10.
The full UFC rankings can be found here.
