Cody Garbrandt’s ‘hit list’ includes T.J. Dillashaw, Jose Aldo, and Conor McGregor

Garbrandt is planning to become one of the most accomplished fighters in the sport in 2017.

Cody Garbrandt is setting the sky as his limit.

The 25-year-old phenom battered Dominick Cruz from pillar-to-post at UFC 207 to take home the bantamweight title and the newly-crowned champion is planning to take out some even bigger names in 2017.

‘No Love’ will coach opposite former teammate T.J. Dillashaw on The Ultimate Fighter 25 and will defend his 135-pound title against the ex-champ later in the year. Garbrandt also plans to dethrone featherweight legend Jose Aldo and take on UFC sensation Conor McGregor in a catchweight bout.

“Now there’s a new hit list — it’s TJ next, then Jose Aldo and then Conor McGregor,” Garbrandt said, per Damon Martin of FOX Sports. “I know my responsibilities against TJ and what I bring to the table and what kind of fight it’s going to be.”

The Team Alpha Male standout claimed that he had video footage of knocking out Dillashaw in training and says the fans will know the truth when the two bantamweights collide on the TUF 25 season finale.

“I was whooping on him when he was here (at Team Alpha Male),” Garbrandt said. “He wants to say we don’t have the video, we don’t have this and that, I’m lying. Well it’s going to be good to set truth. The truth shall set you free. So I’m excited to go out here and tell the story how it really went down.”

When speaking of McGregor, Garbrandt was complimentary of the Irishman’s skills but said that their beef on The Ultimate Fighter 22 — both men almost came to blows after a heated back-and-forth — was very real.

“I think he’s great for the sport but there was beef with me and him on “The Ultimate Fighter”. That was real (expletive),” he said. “People want to say that was just me just trying to get camera time. No, when you ask me to fight I’m going (expletive) fight you.

“If someone pushes me, they’re getting knocked out. They’re going to get in a fight.”

Garbrandt, who sports an undefeated 11-0 record, catapulted to No. 5 in the UFC pound-for-pound rankings after his championship win over ‘The Dominator’ last month. The California-based fighter burst onto the scene after his first-round knockout of Thomas Almeida and has earned his reputation as one of the most heavy-handed bantamweights in the world.
