Good morning! I’m about to ruin your appetite … for the next three days.
Combate Americas was back on UFC Fight Pass and Azteca America last night (Thurs., March 30, 2017), with an action-packed fight card from inside Auditorio Municipal in Tijuana, Mexico.
That’s where Irving Hernandez defeated Jose Alday by way of technical knockout, after the cageside physician ruled “El Pochito” medically unfit to continue. Probably because his face was ripped open and practically falling onto the floor.
Not even the Graston technique can save that one.
In the Combate 12 bantamweight main event, Marcelo Rojo — best known for his stint on season three of The Ultimate Fighter: “Latin America” — defeated Ivan Hernandez Flores by way of technical knockout.
Elsewhere on the card, Alejandro Flores topped Walter Zamora in featherweight action, while Erick “Ghost Pepper” Gonzalez got back into the win column at the expense of Marco Antonio Elpidio.
